Wave Broadband has recently signed on as a provider of the Pac-12 network ahead of the network's launch on August 15th. The company, who has their headquarters in Kirkland, Washington, serves approximately 325,000 customers in Northern California, Oregon and Washington. The Pac-12 regional networks will be assigned to Wave Broadband customers as follows:
- Wave Broadband customers in the Sacramento area will get carriage of the Pac-12 Bay Area regional network.
- Wave Broadband customers in the Portland area will get carriage of the Pac-12 Oregon regional network.
- Wave Broadband customers in the Seattle area will get carriage of the Pac-12 Washington regional network.
DirecTV and the Pac-12 Network
With less than a week to go before the launch of the Pac-12 network, there doesn't look to be any progress on negotiations between the network and DirecTV.
